LIIF is at the forefront of a growing collaboration between the community development and health sectors. Nancy O. Andrews, LIIF’s President & CEO, authored an article calling on the community development sector to expand the scope of its strategic investments in “Coming Out as a Human Capitalist: Community Development at the Nexus of People and Place,” published by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF). The FRBSF and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation have partnered to explore this issue through a series of conferences around the country with other regional Federal Reserve Banks.

At the “Healthy Communities” event in New York sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Ms. Andrews talked about LIIF’s current investments and our vision for the future of community development and health.
