LIIF congratulates Little Tokyo Service Center on today’s grand opening of the Umeya Apartments in Downtown Los Angeles. This newly constructed building will be home to 175 families and individuals, including 88 who were formerly experiencing homelessness. LIIF supported this development with an $8.5 million Golden State Acquisition Fund (GSAF) loan complemented by a $1.5 million predevelopment loan from LIIF and partner Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF).
