LIIF Joins Other Child Care Leaders at U.S. Chamber of Commerce's "National Child Care Innovation Summit"

LIIF headed to the nation’s capital today for a powerhouse early care and education (ECE) event: the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s “National Child Care Innovation Summit.”

As the leading national CDFI working in the child care sector, our team was uniquely positioned to share insights and lessons learned on how to strengthen the U.S. child care ecosystem, which is the backbone of the economy. Items discussed included CHIPS mandates for child care; the need for a federal facilities fund for child care; the intersection of the climate emergency and ECE; and family child care providers as small-business owners.

LIIF was also proud to be a sponsor of the evening reception.
