LIIF Strongly Endorses the Child Care is Infrastructure Act

Congresswoman Katherine Clark (D-MA) recently reintroduced the Child Care is Infrastructure Act, a federal proposal to invest $10 billion in our nation’s child care infrastructure over the next five years. This proposal includes resources for community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and other intermediaries to provide technical assistance and capacity building to child care providers.

LIIF strongly endorses the Child Care is Infrastructure Act. Hear directly from LIIF CEO Daniel A. Nissenbaum about LIIF’s support for the Child Care is Infrastructure Act. And learn from LIIF National ECE Director, Angie Garling, about the importance of this legislation in supporting a holistic economic recovery.

More resources can be found on the National Children’s Facilities Network (NCFN) website, a network of CDFIs and ECE stakeholders which LIIF co-chairs.
