LIIF Moderates Panels at Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's 'Child Care Summit' in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Today, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham convened a “Child Care Summit” at the Governor’s mansion in Santa Fe (top photo). LIIF Senior Vice President, National ECE Angie Garling and ECE Vice President, Advisory and State Policy Shelly Masur (second photo, left to right) moderated panels tailored to an audience of New Mexico mayors, Pueblos, legislators, city/county planners, employers, early care and education (ECE) leaders, and state agencies. A critical topic on the agenda was zoning and land use for ECE facilities, especially family child care homes (in-home providers).
