LIIF’s $3.71 million loan was part of a $14.83 million loan to support the construction of the Boys and Girls Club of Puerto Rico’s new Oasis Hub in San Juan. This 134,000-square-foot, mixed-use development will house the Vimenti Alliance Public School, Vitalus health clinic, workforce development programs and family wrap-around services. Adjacent to a Head Start program, the hub aims to bolster educational and economic outcomes in a historically excluded community where 87% of families live below the poverty line.
