The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corp. (TNDC) is developing a parking lot in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco into a 14-story building with 153 units of affordable housing and retail space planned to attract a grocery store to this underserved community. The development will also include a fully-staffed lobby, program rooms for residents and on-site supportive services. The site is located just two blocks from the Powell Street BART station, a major transit hub in San Francisco.
