New Life for a Building, New Optimism for a City
The People’s Bank Building, in Passaic, NJ was constructed during the Great Depression and is a designated historic landmark. For 20 years, the 12-story building sat vacant. With no preventative upkeep, it had been damaged by exposure to rain and winds, and a stream that ran under the building had flooded the basement. Today, the Art Deco building has been completely reborn as a commercial, retail and business hub. Learn more about the building on the New Jersey Future website.
