On April 4, 2013, LIIF and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco convened a number of cross-sector stakeholders to discuss ideas and opportunities from the recently published book “Investing in What Works for America’s Communities: Essays on People, Place & Purpose.” Held at the Federal Reserve’s Los Angeles Branch, the event was the first in a series of regional events that will be organized across the U.S. The next regional event, “Investing in What Works: Midwest,” will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago on June 17.
