Expanding Health Access in New Orleans
You are here:
A new 65,000-square-foot health clinic recently opened their doors in New Orleans, thanks in part to $3.25 million in acquisition loan financing from the Low Income Investment Fund.
CrescentCare was founded as a primary source of care for underserved populations including low-income individuals, the LGBTQ community and people living with HIV and AIDS.
The new facility, Elysian Fields, will help expand primary care, dental services, and behavioral health services for 3,000 additional annual patients and create more than 450 jobs – a boon to the local community and economy that continues to repair its health system and upward mobility since Hurricane Katrina.
