We’re excited to welcome our new Vice President of Strategic Communications, Carolyn A. Smith. Carolyn brings a decade of multi-sector strategic communications and public relations experience across the nonprofit, corporate and public sectors. In this role, she will amplify LIIF’s work centering racial equity and advocating for communities of opportunity, equity and well-being.
Carolyn sits on the Board of Men Stopping Violence, is the communications chair of New Leaders Council-Atlanta and is a member of Planned Parenthood Southeast’s leadership council. She is an alumna of the Congressional Black Caucus Institute of Advocacy and Campaign Training program and a graduate of Howard University. She will be based in Atlanta.
