AFFORDABLE BUILDINGS FOR CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT (ABCD) INITIATIVE OVERVIEW

ABCD is a California-wide child care initiative. Through the ABCD Initiative, LIIF works with a variety of partners to promote and support the development of quality child care facilities throughout California.  ABCD was initiated in 2003 with the goal of systematically improving the child care facility development process and creating a network of capital and technical resources in California that support quality facilities.  ABCD employs a combination of grants, loans, technical assistance, training and advocacy to facilitate and accelerate the development of quality facilities.
