LIIF’s Los Angeles office provides  loans, grants and technical assistance for child care, education, affordable housing and other vital community revitalization efforts in Southern California’s high-need neighborhoods.

Lending products include:

• Acquisition financing
• Construction and mini-permanent financing
• Bridge financing
• Permanent financing
• Pre-development loans and lines of credit

Constructing Connections

IMPACT

In FY07 (July 1, 2006 – June 30, 2007) LIIF’s Los Angeles office provided 53 loans and three grants for affordable housing, quality child care and schools totaling $40 million. This activity has benefited 41,200 low income individuals in Southern California and supported:

• 870 units of affordable and supportive housing;
• 1,350 child care spaces; and
• 11,700 classroom desks.
