The Solar program

LIIF/CCFF is happy to announce a new pilot component of the Renovation and Repair Grant to help cover the cost of installing solar power systems in San Francisco child care centers . This grant would leverage both State and City resources, which cover approximately 30% to 50% of the installation costs. The grant would pay 80% of the remaining cost and the center would pay 20%. Electrical power cost would be reduced by approximately 90%, so savings would cover the center's upfront cost in four years.
