CONSTRUCTING CONNECTIONS
ABCD is building and supporting a statewide network of streamlined local facility development resources through its Constructing Connections program. Constructing Connections programs are in several California counties. Each Constructing Connections program assists child care projects through the facilities development process from planning through construction by providing technical assistance and resources in the following areas:
- Assessing Market Demands
- Preparing a Business Plan
- Developing an Operating Budget
- Licensing Requirements
- Land Use Permitting Processes
- Identifying Capital Resources
- Finding a Child Care Center Site
- Quality Design
- Understanding Step-by-Step the Development Process
